Was hoping for more.... The AGFG hat in the window from 2014 gave me high hopes but I think the restaurant would be hard pressed to be rewarded with a hat this year. The owner was knowledgable about Tassie wines but he made it uncomfortable by making some weird comments that put down his new waiter (a young girl) in front of us. The selection of Tassie wines available by the glass was limited which was disappointing, as we've been selecting all Tassie produce when we are able. The eggplant dish was small and the vegetables cold. My partner ordered the pulled pork which was beautiful, but came with bulgur (a wheat dish) when ordered with rice. We were told (only after enquiring when the meal arrived) that they had run out of rice, which we thought to be bizarre. The owner who took our order never came over to deal with our issue, instead sending the new waiter over three times. She was obviously uncomfortable with the situation and didn't know what to say. We were finally offered a complimentary bowl of vegetables as a replacement. All in all a very plain and uninspiring meal, weird vibe and expensive for what we received. I have to say again though that the pulled pork was pretty darn amazing.

Loved the food. The quirky proprietor and the strange vibe of this place.
